Pol Roger exclusively produces Vintage Rosé, versus making both Vintage and Non-Vintage, and does so in extremely small quantities. Pol Roger Brut Rosé Vintage is blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay, from 20 Premiers and Grands crus on the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs, and 15% Pinot Noir from selected vineyards in Bouzy, Ambonnay and Cumieres that is vinified 'en rouge' and added to the blend prior to the second fermentation. On the nose, lovely aromas of red fruits and summer berries. On the palate, intense flavors of fresh strawberry, citrus and creamy vanilla with impeccable structure and a long finish. Pairs well with grilled salmon, sushi, fresh fruit and fruit tarts.

The core of black cherry and wild strawberry fruit is ripe and juicy in this harmonious rose, enmeshed with accents of toasted brioche, red licorice, violet and pickled ginger. Shows fine, raw silklike texture and a frame of deftly honed acidity, with a minerally underpinning driving the finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Disgorged March 2023.
