In 1890, on the Via Emilia in a small town in Emilia-Romagna, Remigio Medici owned three successful taverns and decided to create a winery using grapes from the family vineyards, located between the Via Emilia and the foothills of the Enza valley. Remigio’s son Ermete expanded the business and solidified the winery’s reputation, before handing over the reins to his sons Valter and Giorgio, who began to export, further enhancing the brand.

This focused Lambrusco is fragrant with cured tobacco, mineral and spice notes, offering a harmonious mix of chopped black cherry and blackberry fruit, star anise and graphite driven by well-honed acidity. Drink now. 1,200 cases imported.

This forward and plump Lambrusco is a bundle of blackberries, macerated black cherries and savory spices from the get-go. The aromas carry over to the palate with an addition of floral and game notes that give the wine more depth. Soft and fizzy, this wine can only bring smiles.
