The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Combottes 1er Cru has a captivating, quite mineral-driven bouquet with vibrant red fruit, just a touch of peony and iris petals. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins. This is quite a solid Gevrey-Chambertin, lightly spiced with a very saline, marine-influenced finish that lingers long in the mouth. This is a gorgeous, expansive Gevrey-Chambertin Combottes.

The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes is also very charming, mingling aromas of raspberries and plums with hints of blood orange, rose petals and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, deep and velvety palate that's lively and perfumed. As usual, it will offer a broad drinking window.
