Etienne Sauzet Puligny Montrachet Sous Le Puits 2022

The maiden 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Sous Le Puits 1er Cru comes from a new purchase of fruit from the top of the incline close to Blagny. The cool, fresh, malic bouquet opens nicely in the glass, well-defined with a touch of wet limestone. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with good depth, fine concentration and ample weight and tension on the flinty finish. This is very promising and will need a few months on in the bottle.
