This California sparkler, made by the Moet & Champagne folks from the Champagne region of France, is softly dry with apple, pear, citrus, spice and nut flavors. Winemaker Tom Tiburzi and Chef Chris Manning suggest serving Chandon Brut Classic to refresh the palate when eating fried, salty or creamy foods such as fried calamari, fried Shrimp, Caesar salad or fettucini alfredo.

Red apple, lemon rind and some brioche character. Smooth bubbles and pleasant, fresh acidity helps balance the generosity here, giving a vibrant feel. Not complex, but delightful. A blend of chardonnay and pinot noir.

This easygoing sparkler is a delight to sip, with appealing honeysuckle, apple and roasted nut tones, ending with a brisk finish.

Toasty, buttery aromas and a rich palate of peaches and vanilla give this forward wine plenty to savor. A creamy mouthfeel goes nicely with the generous flavors.
