Château Prieuré-Lichine has to be one of the greatest values in all of Bordeaux for its first class, silky and delicious Margaux reds. Across the board Margaux wines are stunning and very posh, but this level typically comes with an haute couture pricetag. The Prieuré-Lichine estate, nestled in the heart of the Margaux appellation, dates back to the 12th century, and was classified as a prestigious Fourth Growth in 1855. Planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, it is now named for Alexis Lichine, the 'Pope of Wine', who purchased the vineyard in the 1950's.
We are offering both the 2019 and 2010 Grand Vin's of the estate (both excellent vintages, two of the best in our lifetimes), AND we are have an incredible value in their Second Wine - 'Confidences de Prieuré-Lichine' for $29.99 (BUY THE CASE!).
